🦈 Forrest gets stabbed by a venomous shark!
It's SHARK WEEK!!!

Earlier this month, a viral video began doing the rounds on social media… a juvenile great white shark was filmed swimming in Lake Conjola in Australia!!! That's right, a great white in a lake, definitely not where you'd expect to find one of these sharks!
Drone pilot Trent Micallef captured the incredible footage. He initially thought a white object trailing behind the shark was a remora, those fish that hitch rides on sharks. But upon closer review, he realized it was actually a fishing lure, left behind by some local fishermen trying to catch the trapped shark. So, how did a great white end up in a lake? It's believed the shark likely entered Lake Conjola by following an Australian Salmon migration along Australia's Coast. While some locals were apparently keen to capture it, the shark eventually left the lake on its own, naturally making its way back to the open ocean.

Here's a wild story that's probably every surfer's worst nightmare, yet somehow, this guy walked away laughing, classic Florida guy behaviour. Surfer Darren Kaye got more than he bargained for when he was headbutted by a spinner shark while surfing at New Smyrna Beach, Florida… the shark attack capital of the world!!! The whole incredible incident was caught on video and quickly went viral. The footage shows the shark launching right out of the water, colliding directly with Kaye's torso. Spinner sharks are famous for their acrobatic hunting, known to jump up to 20 ft (6.1 m) while spinning in the air during feeding. Kaye, miraculously unharmed but definitely shocked, described the impact as feeling like "getting hit by a car." He said it caused a major adrenaline rush, as you can imagine! Despite such a close call, he was back out surfing at the same beach that very weekend, completely undeterred. Kaye mentioned he's seen shark bites before, but he never in a million years expected to be struck by one mid-air. What a wild day at the beach!

In this special, Forrest will be injecting himself with shark venom after diving down under into Australia’s dangerous waters, home to some of the weirdest, alien-like and deadly sharks. Teaming up with world renowned venomologist, Dr. Bryan Fry, they hope this risky and potentially lethal experiment will bypass years of scientific and bureaucratic red tape to finally discover the potency of the venomous Port Jackson Shark and Australian Ghost Shark. Forrest redirecting a massive Tiger Shark a few miles off New Smyrna Beach.
The numbers are in, and once again, Florida… specifically New Smyrna Beach, has earned the title of “The Shark Attack Capital of the World,” accounting for 30% of global shark attacks. But why has the popular spring break mecca and party beach become so deadly? Forrest Galante and Dr. Tristan Guttridge investigate before even more blood ends up in the water. Check out this show at 9PM ET/PT on Friday July 25!
